Experimenting with Facial Hair

by

The idea of maintaining a moustache seems like a daunting task to the majority of us, but with a little time and care, it can be an elegant and stylish statement. If you’ve ever entertained the idea of growing yourself a ‘tash, we’d advise you to give it a go. After all, if you decide it doesn’t appeal, it’s
easily shaven off! Here we’ve put together some tips to help you on your hair growth journey…

1. Moisturise your skin regularly, and drink plenty of water. Soft, clean skin is the key to flawless facial hair, but there are also plenty of vitamins which help to promote fast growth.
Vitamin B, C, and E are known to stimulate hair growth, as well protect your skin, strengthen your immune system and provide you with energy. Think fruit, rice, egg and whole grains.

2. If you’re nervous about growing out your upper lip hair, start by growing your beard a little as well. Keeping your facial hair trim makes your moustache look neat, even in the stubbly stages.

3. Before you start experimenting with styles, take a look online at what is recommended for your face shape. Don’t be afraid to try some of the more statement looks. How about the “Walrus”? Or the “Handlebar”? You never know until you try!

4. Finally, patience is a virtue. Growing your facial hair to a suitable length for a moustache may take you upwards of a few months, but the results will certainly be rewarding. Your signature look is sure to be a great talking point for any smart occasion and will make you stand out from the crowd.
